摘要:
视网膜变性类疾病是世界上主要的一类致盲性眼病,感光细胞等视网膜神经元细胞损伤及凋亡是其共同的病理基础。嘌呤能离子通道型7(P2X7)受体在视网膜多种类型的细胞均有表达。研究发现,P2X7受体激活及其介导的信号异常表达与视网膜神经元细胞变性死亡过程相关,而阻断或下调P2X7受体的激活表达可显著减少视网膜胶质细胞激活和神经元细胞的损伤及凋亡。本文回顾近年来嘌呤P2X7受体参与视网膜变性类疾病的相关研究进展并进行综述,探讨视网膜变性类疾病中针对P2X7受体可能的治疗靶点和策略。
Abstract:
Retinal degenerative diseases are one of the leading causes of blindness worldwide. Injury and apoptosis of retinal neurons such as photoreceptor cells are the common pathological basis of these diseases. Purinergic ligand-gated ion channel 7 (P2X7) receptor is expressed in various types of retinal cells. Studies have shown that the activation of P2X7 receptor and its mediated abnormal signal are related to the degeneration and death of retinal neurons. Blocking or downregulating the activation of P2X7 receptor can significantly reduce the activation of retinal glial cells and the damage and apoptosis of neurons. This paper reviews recent advances in the role of P2X7 receptor in retinal degenerative diseases, and discusses the possible therapeutic targets and strategies for P2X7 receptor in retinal degenerative diseases.
